My Final Year Project allowed me to flex my multi-medium journalistic skills. We were tasked with creating an interactive article in the same style of the Guardian’s award winning piece, Firestorm. This project saw me tackle baltic conditions up in the Toon, where not only did I discover that Geordies are the nicest and most passionate people in the UK, but was also able to gather b-roll, atmos, interviews and vox pops. The project also landed me in the presidents chair at Bristol Rovers’ Memorial stadium and share cups of tea with Guardian journalists and a controversial Univeristy of Bristol professor.
